El pasado jueves, Ben Affleck testificó junto a Bill Gates en una audiencia ante el Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Diplomacy and National Security de EEUU. Affleck estaba allí como el Fundador de la Eastern Congo Initiative para discutir el tema de la ayuda exterior y la diplomacia en el Congo Oriental. Y allí, frente a un montón de políticos, habló orgulloso sobre su papel como Batman en Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice:
"To Senator Leahy, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge my co-star in Batman. The role is marginally smaller than mine but I understand you're quite good."
El senador Leahy hizo una breve aparición en The Dark Knight y es posible que también aparezca en Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
