Las series de superhéroes de Netflix no están ya de muy buena racha. Iron Fist y Luke Cage han sido canceladas e incluso Daredevil no tiene el futuro asegurado.
Erik Oleson, showrunner principal de la serie habla sobre ello para Indie Wire:
“I don’t know what the future holds in terms of Netflix and Marvel and the new Disney streaming service and all of that, I’m not really privy to any of that stuff. That’s way above my pay grade. But who knows what the future holds? I wouldn’t put it past anyone that [Iron Fist] comes back in some other form.”
Erik Oleson apunta la principal causa de estas cancelaciones al nuevo canal de pago de Disney, Disney Play app. Marvel está barriendo para casa y quizás en un futuro se puedan ver allí a The Defenders.
