Antes del desastroso reboot de los Fantastic Four, Fox tenía prevista la secuela para el 2017. El escritor y productor Simon Kinberg, quién ha trabajado en Fantastic Four y X-Men, ha dicho en el Festival de Toronto este fin de semana que quiere que se ruede Fantastic Four 2.
"You’re waking up every morning being like, I want to go make a great movie. It was an opportunity to do that. I do believe there is a great Fantastic Four movie that we’ve made with that cast. So I’m gonna figure out what that is," Kinberg offered with mention they are still looking ahead at a sequel. "We’re figuring out what that movie would be. I’d like that to happen."
Simon Kinberg continuó diciendo que no se explica como Fantastic Four fue bombardeada por crítica y publico.
Kate Mara también ha declarado que aunque no sabe si se va a rodar una segunda parte le gustaría volver.
"It's unlikely that a sequel will happen, but I would love to do one. I would love to play Sue Storm in a movie that everybody loves. That would be great."
Bueno, salvando al final Fantastic Four ya que su recaudación final fue de 160 millones de dólares de un presupuesto de 120 a mi me gustaría ver una segunda parte. Y como Josh Trank fue el principal causante de las malas críticas y está fuera de cualquier proyecto futuro en relación con los 4F seguro que mejor que la primera será.
