THE FINAL DAYS OF SUPERMAN

Ya hubo algún que otro rumor, pero DC Comics ha anunciado el arco argumental The Final Days of Superman, la muerte del hombre de acero del New 52. Transcurrirá entre abril y mayo de este año, antes de que llegue el relanzamiento de los superhéroes de la editorial: "Rebirth". La historia está escrita por Peter J. Tomasi y los dibujantes son Mikel Janin en Superman #51 y #52 y Jorge Jiménez en Superman/Wonder Woman #28 y #29.
Su muerte será causa de lo ocurrido en la Darkseid War, y el comunicado oficial es el siguiente:

“The devastating effects of Apokolips’ fire pits in Justice League: Darkseid War, the A.R.G.U.S. Kryptonite chamber from “Savage Dawn” in Superman, and his battle with the would-be god Rao in Justice League of America all combine in a perfect storm of death for the Man of Steel. Determined to protect humanity, despite his impending death, Superman embarks on a quest to seek heroes from across the DC Universe to continue his role as humanity’s protector.”
